BHOTI Day Celebration at Jamyang School

Jamyang High School Leh celebrated BHOTI Day with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit on 1st April 2026. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Mr. Tsultrim Gyatso, along with Judge Mr. Tsewang Tundup (Doctor of Sowa Rigpa), Madam Tenzin Lhatso (Tibetan Teacher of New Millennium School), and the Director of Jamyang High School, Geshe Tsultrim Tharchin. The celebration was attended by the staff and students of Jamyang

School.


The program commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by the Principal of Jamyang School, Mr. Tsering Tundup. This was followed by an engaging Riglam session presented by the students of Class IX, and an exciting essay competition held among the four houses. A delightful group poem performance by the Nursery students added charm to the occasion.


The event continued with speeches by the Chief Guest, Mr. Tsultrim Gyatso, Judge Mr. Tsewang Tundup, and Director Geshe Tsultrim Tharchin. They emphasized the importance of preserving the Bhoti language and encouraged its use in daily life. They highlighted that greater attention to the language would create better opportunities for learning and understanding Bhoti in the future.


The program concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the end of a meaningful and successful
