The Health Department of Leh under the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) visited Jamyang School, Leh on 25th October, 2025 to conduct an awareness programme on the causes and consequences of drug use, tobacco consumption, and anxiety among students. In addition to this, at the school level, the Health and Wellness Team organized an awareness session on “Safe Touch and Bad Touch” , guiding students on how to identify and respond to such situations at a young age. T

On 12th October, 2025 , the students of Jamyang School from classes 6th to 10th conducted a Model Exhibition on the subjects of Science and Social Studies. The event highlighted the creativity and knowledge of the students through their innovative models. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rank holders were awarded consolation prizes and tokens of appreciation by the School Principal.

On 9th and 10th October, 2025 , medical teams visited Jamyang School, Leh and conducted health screenings for the students under the scheme Rashtriya Bal Swaasthya Karyakram (RBSK) . The screenings included checks for height, weight, blood pressure, dental, and vision health.
